Exemplo disso é a discografia de #MarilynManson, que fala sobre várias mortes e de várias prespectivas aqui e ali, mas que tem os seus dois últimos albuns (o que já saiu e o que está a sair) todos eles sobre uma morte - em particular, um assassinado. "One Assassination Under God", Capítulos 1 e 2, são discos em que, não surpreendentemente, todas as músicas falam de morte, à sua maneira. E então é por aí que eu vou, talvez porque o mais recente single da banda (o primeiro do capítulo 2) saiu este mês e ainda está bem presente nas minhas "audições recorrentes"...

"Exit Wound" é um single do novo album mas podia ser de toda esta era (dos dois albuns, portanto): um retrato de como, tanto musical como liricamente, tudo o que aqui é feito é um piscar de olho ao tríptico da banda e ao Marilyn Manson dessa altura - o Marilyn Manson que foi agora (nesta "continuação") assassinado.

Tenho o disco - a banda sonora do filme "24 hours to live", mas nunca vi o filme pelo que me falta o contexto para entender o que é que ao certo tem esta música a haver com África (suponho que haja uma cena qualquer com um veículo a ser conduzido por paisagens africanas), mas como Africa está no título da música (que abre o disco), acho que conta :-)

Note-se: tenho este disco há anos, e ainda há mais tempo o queria ter, e só hoje, graças à musiquinta, abri a página da wikipédia sobre o filme, chegando à conclusão que não só é um filme de acção como a capa do disco (e poster do filme) mostra bem, como é um filme de ficção científica! (desta não estava à espera), e agora começo a pensar que se calhar até deveria ver visto o filme...

I ended up getting more engaged about some of the books I edited about, but also got an interesting view of the lifecycle of some wikimedia content (and how it ends up outdated, incomplete, etc.).

The experiment is about to end as April ends this week, but it doesn't have to, and I might just expand the topic and keep trying to do an edit per day - why not?
